Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 100 g bacon, streaky smoked
- 500 g pork goulash
- 500 g beef goulash
- 2 onions
- Salt
- pepper, black
- Cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp broth, clear (instant)
- 1 pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 810 g sauerkraut (1 can)
- 3 Cabanossi (smoked garlic sausages)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Dice the bacon and fry in a pan. Brown the goulash in it. Add the diced onions. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Dissolve the broth in 2 liters of hot water. Add it along with the chili pepper and bay leaf. Cook in a covered pan for 1 hour. Add the sauerkraut and cook for 30 minutes. Add the Cabanossi slices and tomato paste and cook for another 30 minutes. Season to taste.
