Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 125 g butter, melted
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 230 ml buttermilk
  • 2 vanilla sugar
  • 140 g sugar
  • n. B. Decoration for decorating

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

For the buttermilk muffins, preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line a muffin tin with paper baking cups. In a bowl, combine the baking powder and flour. In another bowl, whisk the buttermilk, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, and melted butter until smooth. Add the dry ingredients and mix gently. Now pour the batter into the muffins. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Let cool. Decorate the buttermilk muffins as desired.
