Plum – red wine – jam

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g plum(s), pitted
  • 200 ml red wine, t
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2 : 1
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Quarter the pitted plums and combine them with the sugar in a large saucepan. Let them draw out the juice for a while. Then add the red wine and season with cinnamon. (Note: If the plums are tart, the juice can be quite sweet, as the plums will release a significant amount of acidity during cooking!). Bring to a boil and, once the mixture has set, pour into twist-off jars.
