Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • some bacon, streaky, finely diced
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 small carrots, diced
  • 400 g tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • olive oil
  • Pizza seasoning
  • salt and pepper
  • some broth
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

designed for the Alfredo pizza oven, Ø 30 cm

Fry diced bacon in olive oil, add onions and sauté, then add carrots and sweat briefly. Briefly stir tomato paste in the pan to caramelize slightly, then deglaze with the pizza tomatoes and thin slightly with the stock to make the sauce thick. Season to taste with spices and simmer gently for at least 1 hour. Finally, puree the sauce with a hand blender. Pour the hot sauce into jars, turn upside down for 5 minutes and, once cooled, store in the refrigerator. Or fill 3 tablespoons of the sauce (enough for 1 30 cm pizza) into small freezer containers (makes about 10 containers) and freeze.
