Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g goulash, mixed
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), diced
- 4 tbsp oil
- black pepper, freshly ground
- Salt
- garlic powder
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 375 ml water
- 2 green bell peppers, cut into strips
- 250 g tomatoes, quartered
- 1 jar shallot(s), drained (125 g)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
Brown the meat and diced onions in hot fat. Add the spices and water, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 1 hour. Add the pepper strips and cook for another 20 minutes. Finally, heat the tomatoes and pearl onions into the goulash. Thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch and season to taste.
