Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 ml apple juice, clear
- 200 ml red currant syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick(s)
- 4 cloves
- 1 star anise
- 2 tea bags (apple tea)
- ½ lemon(s), juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Punch with Christmas spices
Boil the apple juice with blackcurrant syrup, cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise. Hang the apple tea bag in the pot and let it steep for 20 minutes. Remove the tea bag and bring the punch back to a boil, add lemon juice, and serve immediately. 220 kcal per serving.
