Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml gin
  • 1,000 ml cloudy apple juice
  • 1 large piece(s) of ginger root
  • 6 cinnamon sticks
  • 8 cloves
  • 4 star anise
  • 1 pinch of allspice
  • 2 organic oranges
  • 1 organic lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat the cloudy apple juice in a saucepan. Peel the oranges and lemon, leaving only the bitter white part on the fruit. Squeeze out the juice. Add the juice and zest to the apple juice. Slice the ginger and add it to the pan along with the cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and allspice. Simmer everything together over low heat for 20 minutes. Finally, add the gin, a little more or less to taste. Don’t simmer for a while. Truly delicious in the cold season!
