Teriyaki salmon with honey Brussels sprouts from the air fryer

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 4 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic, grated or finely chopped
  • 750 g Brussels sprouts
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mix the teriyaki sauce with sesame oil, ginger, and garlic and marinate the salmon for at least 20 minutes. Clean and halve the Brussels sprouts. Mix the salt, pepper, and olive oil and toss the Brussels sprouts with it. Place them in the basket of the high-temperature air fryer and cook for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Shake occasionally to ensure the vegetables cook evenly. About 6 minutes before the end of the cooking time, remove the salmon from the marinade and fry it in a non-stick pan. At the same time, heat the honey and sesame seeds in another pan. After the cooking time is over, toss the Brussels sprouts in the sauce and serve with the fried salmon. With this amount of Brussels sprouts, you don’t need an additional filling side dish for two people.
