Baked peaches

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 peaches
  • 8 sugar cubes
  • 100 ml dry sherry
  • 4 tbsp almond flakes, toasted

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Halve the peaches and remove the pits. To prevent the peach halves from tipping over, you can cut a piece off the bottom. Line a baking dish with enough aluminum foil to press the ends together at the top. Place the peach halves in the foil. Place a sugar cube in each cavity and pour over dry sherry. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and seal the foil as tightly as possible. Bake in an oven preheated to 160°C (320°F) for 15 minutes. Serve two peach halves per serving.
