Plums with maple syrup and ricotta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 5 large plums, not too soft
  • ½ tsp butter
  • 3 tbsp, heaped ricotta or cream cheese
  • 7 tbsp maple syrup
  • some hazelnut brittle or roasted almonds

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 7 minutes

Wash, dry, and quarter the plums. Heat butter and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup in a saucepan. Sauté the plum quarters for about two minutes, until almost soft. Then chill. Mix the ricotta with 2-3 tablespoons of maple syrup. Divide half of the cold plum pieces between two bowls and top with half of the ricotta. Place the remaining plums on top, add a tablespoon of maple syrup to each bowl, and cover with the remaining ricotta. Garnish with some hazelnut brittle.
