Apple cake with whipped cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 2 packs of cream stiffener
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ liter apple juice
  • 80 g sugar
  • 2 packs of pudding powder, cream
  • 6 apples

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Make a shortcrust pastry with the sugar, butter, egg, flour, and baking powder and refrigerate for half an hour. Peel and finely chop the apples. Spread the pastry into a rimmed springform pan. For the filling, bring the cream pudding to a boil with the sugar and apple juice. Then add the apple pieces and then pour the pudding into the shortcrust pastry. Bake in the oven at 175°C for about an hour, then let cool. Then finish the topping with the cream, cream stiffener, and vanilla sugar and spread it on the cake. I like to garnish the whole thing with a little eggnog; it tastes really delicious!
