Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 350 g flour
- 40 g butter, soft, or margarine
- 100 ml milk
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- e.g. cinnamon
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes
without yeast
Combine the ingredients in a large bowl and knead thoroughly. If the dough is still too sticky, add a little more flour. Then, cover the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator. At a campfire, wrap a handful of dough around a stick and bake it over the embers. The stick bread tastes great on its own or with jam, Nutella, etc.
