Swiss chard with orange sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 20 leaves of chard
  • 3 onions
  • 200 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 tbsp, heaped coconut oil
  • 50 ml soy milk (soy drink), unsweetened
  • 1 tsp, leveled cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Vegan

Thoroughly clean the chard and cut into 2 cm wide strips. Blanch for 5 minutes, rinse in cold water, and drain. Slice the onions into half rings and sauté with the chard in coconut oil. Deglaze everything with the orange juice. Add the soy milk and agave syrup. Dissolve the cornstarch in a little cold water, slowly stir it into the pan, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
