Granini cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 750 ml juice of your choice (e.g. multivitamin juice)
  • 2 packets of pudding powder (cream or vanilla flavor)
  • 1 pack of cookies (butter cookies)
  • 2 cups whipped cream or Cremefine
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs of cream stiffener
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • some water
  • possibly lemon juice
  • Grease for the tray
  • Breadcrumbs or semolina or flour for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 9 hours

Whisk together the eggs, oil, sugar, flour, and baking powder until smooth. Pour onto a greased baking sheet dusted with breadcrumbs (or semolina or flour) and bake at 200°C for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Allow the finished base to cool. Cook the pudding according to the package instructions, using the juice instead of the milk and sugar, and allow to cool slightly. Spread the mixture over the base and let it cool completely. Whip the cream with vanilla sugar and cream stiffener until stiff and spread over the cold pudding. Top with the butter biscuits. Mix the icing sugar with water and a little lemon juice, if desired, and spread over the biscuits. It’s best to let the cake stand overnight so the biscuits become nice and soft.
