Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 beetroot, fresh, approx. 120g net
  • Sea salt, coarse-grained or from the mill, as required

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Peel the beets (wear gloves!) and finely slice them. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the slices on the sheet (don’t overlap them), and sprinkle with sea salt (or regular salt). Preheat oven to 90°C fan/convection oven. Dry the sheet on the middle rack for about 90 minutes (with a wooden spoon in the door). Time will likely vary from oven to oven.
