Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 7 tbsp jam (fig jam with whole fruits)
  • 3 tbsp mustard flour
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar, lighter
  • 2 tbsp fruit vinegar
  • 3 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

delicious with a cheese platter

Heat the fig jam and puree. Heat the fruit vinegar and the fig mixture and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring continuously. Mix the mustard flour with 3 tablespoons of water and the mustard. Remove the pot from the heat and thoroughly stir in the mustard mixture. Return the pot to the stovetop and heat for another 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Pour the prepared fig mustard into prepared twist-off jars, turn upside down for 2 minutes, and let cool. The specified amount is enough for 2 small jars. Tastes great with various cheeses. Tip: Mustard flour and fig jam with whole figs are available at Turkish grocery stores.
