Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g almonds, ground
  • 300 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp almond liqueur
  • n. B. Powdered sugar for the work surface
  • 1 egg white
  • 125 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Mix the almonds, powdered sugar, and cinnamon. Add the egg whites and almond liqueur. Mix everything together using the dough hook on a hand mixer. Then knead with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Roll out the dough in portions on a work surface dusted with powdered sugar to a thickness of about 1 cm. Cut out stars and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Dip the cutters in powdered sugar every now and then. For the glaze, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to beat. Brush the stars with it and bake in a preheated oven on the lowest rack at 150°C (top/bottom heat) for 10-15 minutes. The mixture has 4845 kcal.
