Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 150 g butter, room temperature
- 3 tbsp sour cream or creme fraiche
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of paprika powder, rose hot
- 1 egg yolk, for brushing
- Salt, coarse
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
makes about 20 pieces
Knead the ingredients into a dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll out the dough to about 3 mm and cut into 2 cm wide and about 10 long strips. Cut a slit in the middle of the strip, ending 1 cm from the edge at each end. Then push one end through the middle (the slit) so that it is twisted. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) for about 15 minutes! Remove and let cool! Storage: They will keep for 14 days in a tin lined with parchment paper or greaseproof paper! They taste best fresh!
