Salmon in Leek Cream Sauce

The perfect salmon in leek cream sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Salmon fillet
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 pole Leek
  • 250 g Brown mushrooms
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 200 ml Cream
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder
  1. Peel and dice the onions.
  2. Wash the leek thoroughly and cut into rings.
  3. Cut the salmon fillet into cubes.
  4. Heat a large pan and let the oil get hot in it.
  5. Add the onion cubes and toast them a little.
  6. Clean and chop the mushrooms.
  7. Add the leek strips and mushrooms and sauté them, stirring occasionally.
  8. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  9. Deglaze the vegetables with the vegetable stock and cream and cook for 5 minutes.
  10. Now add the mustard and bring to the boil again.
  11. Taste and season again if necessary.
  12. Put the salmon cubes in the sauce and let them steep briefly.
  13. It goes well with rice or pasta.
