Hot Cinnamon Chocolate

The perfect hot cinnamon chocolate recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Hot cinnamon chocolate

  • 1 blackboard Dark chocolate (Lindt 70%)
  • 800 ml Whole milk 3.8%
  • 150 g Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 2 tbsp *Kakaopulver einfach gemacht
  • Raw cane sugar to your taste
  • 6 tbsp *Zimtlikör
  • 4 piece Cinnamon sticks
  1. Take the dark chocolate out of the packaging and chop it into pieces with a knife. Place a milk pot on a hotplate, pour in the whole milk and bring to the boil together with the creme frâiche. Then stir in cocoa powder & chopped dark chocolate and let melt in it.
  2. Now season the hot cinnamon chocolate with raw cane sugar (to taste) & the cinnamon liqueur. Now whip the whole thing up frothy and pour into several cups. Garnish / decorate each with a cinnamon stick. Serve with homemade chocolate chip cookies or whatever you have.
