Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 kg apples
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel the apples and slice them thinly. Cream the butter until fluffy. Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar and mix well. Sift the flour and baking powder together, then stir in. Fold the apple slices into the batter. Spread the mixture onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 200-220°C (400-425°F) for about 30 minutes. Mix the powdered sugar with a little cold water to make the glaze and spread it over the still-hot cake.
