Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g spelt flakes, wholemeal
  • 125 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

From flakes

Heat the butter in a saucepan, then remove from the heat to prevent it from burning. Dissolve the sugar in it and add the flakes. Mix everything together and let it cool. Beat the egg until frothy and stir into the cooled mixture. Use a teaspoon to cut out small dumplings and place them on a baking sheet. Be careful, the cookies will spread, about double in size, so it’s best to start small. Preheat the oven and bake the cookies for 20 minutes at 200°C. Please refer to your oven’s baking experience.
