Spicy Saigon Shrimp

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 225 g shrimp
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the oil in a medium-hot pan or wok. Add the shrimp and sauté briefly for 2 to 3 minutes, until two-thirds pink. Add the chili powder, peanut butter, the minced garlic clove, soy sauce, and the spring onions, mix, and continue sautéing until the shrimp are pink. My personal tip: If you like it spicier, you can spice up the dish with coarse, hot chili flakes. If you prefer a milder flavor, simply use paprika powder instead of chili powder.
