Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 750 ml white wine
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g sugar (depends on the sweetness of the wine)
  • 2 packs of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 kg apples, grated
  • 2 cups of cream
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead the dough ingredients into a shortcrust pastry, place it in a greased springform pan, and raise the sides to a high height. For the topping, combine the sugar, vanilla sugar, and pudding powder with a little wine. Bring the remaining wine to a boil, stir in the pudding powder, and bring to a boil briefly. Add the grated apples and spread everything over the shortcrust pastry. Bake the cake at 180°C for about 90 minutes. Once cooled, spread the whipped cream over the cake and dust with cocoa.
