Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 375 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 250 g flour
- 250 g cornstarch
- 125 g ground almonds
- 10 ml rum
- Chocolate coating, for spreading
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours
Mix all ingredients into a firm dough. Chill the dough for 3 hours. Form into round rings using the biscuit attachment on a meat grinder. Bake at 180°C. Let cool and decorate with chocolate coating. The dough will be very firm, so it works best with a meat grinder and the biscuit attachment. But it’s worth the effort.
