Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

makes 9 muffins

Beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Gradually add the eggs, one at a time, and continue beating. Gradually add the almonds, dark chocolate, flour, and baking powder in this order. Pour the batter into muffin tins and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (convection oven) for 20-25 minutes. After baking, cover with melted chocolate. For children’s birthdays, for example, you can arrange three different-colored Smarties on top of the warm chocolate. A cake (e.g., a Bundt cake) can also be baked using the same recipe; it will take 50-60 minutes at the same temperature.
