yellow and delicious

Simmer the yellow petals in a small saucepan with 700 ml of water for 5 minutes, cover, and let cool. Then filter out the yellow petals and slowly reduce the solution to approximately 300 ml with 400 g of sugar. Pour the cooled syrup into a 1-liter bottle and fill with the rum. Let it steep for a day. 5-10 drops of yellow food coloring can enhance the color slightly. This liqueur is excellent for refining and sweetening other batches and liqueurs. It is primarily suitable for fruit and rum liqueurs. Served over vanilla ice cream, it creates a particularly delicious flavor.
