Quick Asian-inspired noodle dish

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g noodles (mie noodles)
  • ½ bag of vegetables (Asian)
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce, dark, preferably salty
  • 150 g chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 tsp, heaped garlic, frozen, chopped
  • 1 tsp, leveled ginger powder
  • 3 tbsp oil (peanut oil) or olive oil
  • some cumin
  • possibly sambal oelek or chili peppers
  • possibly sesame oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat peanut oil or olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and sauté for about 5 minutes. Add the vegetables and garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes. Add seasonings and, if desired, sambal oelek or chili peppers. Add soy sauce as desired. Cook the mie noodles in lightly salted water according to the package instructions. Drain. Once the pan is ready, add the mie noodles. Some people fry them further, otherwise stir well. Serve. If desired, add a few drops of sesame oil (just don’t use this oil beforehand).
