Macaroons made from nuts, almonds and chocolate

Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 3 eggs, of which the egg white
  • 200 g sugar, fine (icing sugar)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g chocolate, chopped (dark)
  • 250 g almonds, unpeeled chopped or walnuts, hazelnuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Easy preparation

Beat the egg whites until stiff, add the sugar and vanilla sugar, and continue beating. Carefully fold in the chocolate, almonds, and nuts. Using two teaspoons, place small heaps of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 150°C for 20-25 minutes, or slightly lower if using a fan oven. Don’t remove the dough immediately afterward; it will release more easily.
