Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 small bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 small green bell pepper(s)
  • 125 g bacon, diced
  • 1 onion(s)
  • some olive oil
  • some vegetable broth, instant
  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peppers, red, yellow, green with bacon

Halve the bell peppers, remove the seeds, rinse, and dice. Peel the onion and dice it as well. Fry the bacon in a pan with a little olive oil over medium heat until slightly crispy. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent. Add the diced bell peppers and fry briefly. Add a little water and stir in about 2-3 teaspoons of vegetable stock. Then simmer for a while. Season with pepper. We like to serve this with rice.
