Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g flour, gluten-free, alternatively wheat flour
  • 50 g cream cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 50 g butter
  • some salt
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • e.g. oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 24 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 54 minutes

gluten-free

Knead the ingredients into a dough, season with salt and oregano, and refrigerate for at least 24 minutes. I always use a gluten-free flour blend for this. If you can’t avoid gluten, you can also use regular wheat flour. Form about 20 small balls and flatten them to create flat, round cookies. Sprinkle them with paprika powder and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 10-15 minutes. Time varies from oven to oven, so check the oven every now and then.
