Spicy tomato dip

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 2 red chili peppers
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp oil (sunflower)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

as a dip for snacks or as a barbecue sauce

Quarter the tomatoes and remove the seeds. Remove the green stems. Blend the flesh with the chilies, garlic, sugar, and a little salt in a blender until pureed. Heat the oil in a saucepan and simmer until the tomato puree thickens. Then add the lemon juice. It can be eaten hot or cold.
