Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g crème fraîche with herbs
- 50 ml cream
- 50 g tomato paste
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt and pepper

a quick, spicy tomato sauce with crème fraîche
Heat the oil in a pan. Reduce the heat. Fry the tomato paste and sambal oelek for one minute, stirring occasionally, then sprinkle with paprika and onion powder. Mix everything together and fry briefly again. Deglaze with the cream and mix well. Add the sugar. When the sauce begins to simmer, stir in the crème fraîche. Season with salt and pepper. Goes well with spaghetti and tagliatelle. The spiciness can be adjusted by adding more or less sambal oelek.
