Grandma's chili soup

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg minced meat
  • 6 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 6 bell peppers, red and green
  • 1 jar beans, white young large
  • 2 bottles of chili sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Party soup

Dice the onions and cut the bell peppers into bite-sized strips. Heat oil in a large pot and fry the minced meat until crumbly. Add the onions and bell peppers and fry briefly. Add the beans and their water to the pot, along with the chili sauce. Fill the sauce bottles with a little water, shake, and add the liquid to the pot. Fill the jar of beans twice with water and add it to the pot. This should make about 4 liters of soup. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer on low heat for about 1 hour, until the bell peppers have broken down slightly. Season again before serving.
