Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 eggs
- 5 tbsp water
- 150 g hazelnuts, ground
- 125 g sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 jar sour cherries
- 1 pack of cake glaze, red
- 250 ml whipped cream
- n. B. Chocolate shavings
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the egg yolks, water, nuts, sugar, and flour to form a batter, then fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into the bottom of a cake tin and bake for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Drain the sour cherries well and reserve the juice. Using the cherry juice (instead of water), prepare the glaze according to the package instructions. Place the cherries on the cooled cake base and pour the glaze over them. Whip the whipped cream until stiff and spread it over the set glaze. Decorate with dark chocolate shavings, if desired.
