Garlic butter with herbs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • Salt
  • chives
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Let the butter soften slightly, then mash it with a fork. Crush the garlic and finely chop some chives. Mix everything together and season with salt. The amount of garlic is a matter of taste, of course, and can be increased. To shorten the wait time while grilling, I serve the butter as an appetizer with warm baguette at barbecues. The leftovers are then eaten with grilled food. It’s easy to portion and freeze.
