Breakfast: Date and Chocolate Waffles
The perfect breakfast: date and chocolate waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 130 g Pitted Medjoul dates
- 325 ml Any milk
- 2 tbsp Nut butter
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil
- 3 Pc. Eggs
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 250 g Wholemeal spelled flour
- 20 g Cocoa powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tsp Tartar baking powder
- Puree the dates, eggs, milk, nut butter, coconut oil and maple syrup to a creamy mass. Add flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder and stir in briefly. Bake the batter in the waffle iron to make waffles.
- The waffles taste delicious with honey or maple syrup, jam, Greek yogurt, fresh berries etc.
