Ingredients
 

  • 130 g Pitted Medjoul dates
  • 325 ml Any milk
  • 2 tbsp Nut butter
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 3 Pc. Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 250 g Wholemeal spelt flour
  • 20 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Tartar baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Puree the dates, eggs, milk, nut butter, coconut oil and maple syrup to a creamy mass. Add flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder and stir in briefly. Bake the batter in the waffle iron to make waffles.
  • The waffles taste delicious with honey or maple syrup, jam, Greek yogurt, fresh berries etc.
