Easy whole wheat baguette

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g whole wheat flour
  • 200 g spelt flour, wholemeal
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp herbal salt
  • 1 pinch(s) rosemary
  • 1 handful of pumpkin seeds
  • 350 ml water, warm
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • Flour for the baking sheet

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Spelt, wheat, pumpkin seeds

Combine the flour with the spices, pumpkin seeds, sugar, and yeast and knead well with the warm water. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 190°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle with a little flour. Form the dough into a baguette on the floured sheet. Place the sheet in the oven and bake for about 40 minutes.
