Herb bread with oat flakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g wheat flour, 550
  • 120 g oat flakes
  • 15 g yeast, fresh
  • some sugar
  • 2 tsp, leveled salt
  • 2 bunch herbs, e.g. dill, chives, chervil, parsley
  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Combine flour, oats, yeast, sugar, and salt. Knead with the milk until the dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. Knead in the washed and chopped herbs. Cover and let rise for about 50 minutes; the dough should double in size. Knead well on a floured surface and place in a greased loaf pan. Let rise again for about 20-30 minutes. Score the surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 35 minutes.
