Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ bottle of flavoring (lemon), (bottle of 2 ml)
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 3 apples
  • 4 tbsp, heaped cinnamon and sugar
  • 4 tbsp, heaped almonds, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Crisp apple pie, light and super delicious, always looks good!

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Cream the butter at room temperature with the sugar until fluffy. Stir in the egg yolks until fluffy. Now stir in the flour. Stir until a nice creamy consistency is achieved. Then add the milk and lemon zest. Briefly stir in the baking powder and then carefully fold in the egg whites. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and distribute the peeled apples, cut into eighths, starting in the center and spreading them out into the pan. If you like apples, go easy on the ingredients! This will make the cake even moister. Press the apple pieces slightly into the batter so that the batter can rise between the slices. Now mix the ground almonds with the cinnamon-sugar mixture in a small bowl and spread generously over the batter. This will make for a delicious, crispy crust! Then place the cake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat). Bake for 40-50 minutes. If the cake gets too brown on top, you can cover it with baking paper after about 40 minutes. The cake can be eaten warm, if you can stand it.
