Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar bianco
- 2 tsp, leveled sugar
- 1 tsp, heaped salt
- ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
- Pepper, from the mill
- 1 tsp dried herbs, e.g. Café de Paris
- 1 small onion(s), finely diced
- 1 red bell pepper(s), finely diced
- 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
- 5 tbsp oil, neutral
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Put everything except the bell peppers, diced onions, and oil into a blender and mix thoroughly. Then add the oil and blend again until you have a creamy sauce. Stir in the onions and bell peppers and let them stand for a while to infuse. This is when the sauce tastes best. Delicious with all green salads such as lollo bianco or rosso, lamb’s lettuce, green salad, endive, etc. Tip: You can replace the balsamic bianco with 1.5 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1.5 tablespoons of water. You can also stir the sauce by hand, but make sure the salt dissolves.
