Asian Style Steak Strips

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 beef steak(s) (rib eye), approx. 300 – 350 g
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 some peppercorns
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

quick and easy

Cut the steak into approximately 1 cm wide strips. Slice the spring onion into rings. Grind the pepper and mustard seeds in a mortar and pestle. Marinate the meat and spices together with soy sauce and sriracha sauce. Let it marinate for about 1 hour. Heat the coconut oil in a pan or wok. Briefly sear the marinated steak strips and the spring onions in the hot oil. The meat should still be nice and pink inside. Serve with jasmine or basmati rice.
