Roasted rabbit liver

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 portions of rabbit liver(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 250 ml stock (rabbit stock)
  • salt and pepper
  • some butter or margarine for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Remove all skins from the liver and finely dice. Melt butter in a medium pan, sauté the onion, add the liver, and brown well. Pour in the stock, add the sour cream, let it boil briefly, and remove from the heat. Season with salt and pepper. Bread dumplings are best served with this dish.
