Tomato soup with dried banana slices

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 leaves of fresh basil
  • 1 tsp crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp rice
  • 20 slice(s) banana(s), dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Empty the canned tomatoes into a mixing bowl. Remove any remaining skin. Blend until smooth with a hand blender. Stir in the tomato paste, season with salt and pepper. Heat slowly over medium heat; do not boil. Just before serving, add the banana slices and stir in. The banana slices should retain their firmness. Add the rice. Carefully fold in the crème fraîche. Ladle the soup into bowls or soup plates, distribute the fresh basil evenly, and serve.
