Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g pork or turkey, shredded
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 2 medium-sized onions, chopped
  • 1 can peach(s) (halves)
  • 2 pinches of pepper
  • 1 tbsp spice mix (Chinese spice), possibly more
  • 1 jar bamboo shoot(s)
  • a little flour to thicken
  • some sweet cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Season the strips with paprika, pepper, salt, and a little Chinese seasoning. Sauté with the finely chopped onions and diced bell peppers. Add the bamboo shoots and let everything simmer for about 10-15 minutes over medium heat. Chop the peaches into eighths and add to the strips along with the peach juice. Season everything with plenty of Chinese seasoning and thicken with a little flour. Finally, add a little sweet cream to round out the flavor. Rice goes best with this dish, but potatoes are also delicious.
