Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of meat substitute burger patties, e.g., Next Level Burger, approx. 227 g each
  • 227 g potatoes
  • 227 g carrot(s)
  • 227 g parsnip(s)
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 rosemary sprig(s)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel the vegetables, cut into large cubes, arrange them on a baking sheet or in a casserole dish, and season with salt, sugar, and rosemary. The spices enhance the flavor and reduce the cooking time. Add the oil and bake the vegetables in the oven at 180°C for about 35-50 minutes. In the meantime, cut the patties into cubes and fry them in a pan over medium heat, turning frequently. When the oven-baked vegetables are almost done, stir in the meat substitute cubes. Arrange the vegetables on plates and serve. This dish contains approximately 600 kcal per serving.
