Apple mulled wine

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 apples
  • 400 ml orange juice
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • Cinnamon
  • 700 ml red wine
  • n. B. sugar
  • nutmeg
  • Clove(s) and apple pie spice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine all liquid ingredients in a large pot. Wash, peel, core, and dice the apples. Place them in a tea bag or cloth bag with the spices (if they are whole), seal the bag, and hang or place it in the pot. Heat everything until soft, but do not boil. Season to taste with sugar. Remove the apples and spices from the drink before serving.
