Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 100 g raisins
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 250 g flour
- 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
- 3 tbsp apple juice
- 2 apples, sour (e.g. Boskop, Cox Orange), 150 g each
- 30 g powdered sugar
- Sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Soften the butter and beat with the sugar and salt until creamy. Beat in the eggs. Add the flour mixed with the baking powder. Add apple juice until the batter is easy to stir. Sprinkle with the cinnamon. Cut the apples into small pieces and stir them into the batter along with the washed raisins. Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and bake on the bottom rack of a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan/gas mark 3) for about 1 hour. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
