Jim Cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml whiskey (bourbon) or brandy, cognac, brandy, grain alcohol, …
  • 400 g Nutella or other hazelnut spread
  • 400 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Whiskey cream liqueur

Mix the hazelnut spread with the alcohol until dissolved, then stir in the cream (do not beat or whisk, otherwise you’ll end up with whipped cream), and you’re done. An easy-to-make alternative to a well-known Irish Cream or similar products. You can experiment with commercially available hazelnut spreads and all sorts of liquor variations until you find your favorite combination. It also makes a great gift. Delicious on its own, over ice, as part of long drinks, or as a sauce over vanilla ice cream, strawberries, etc. Keep refrigerated and consume quickly. Remove from the refrigerator before consumption, let it acclimatize for a while, and shake well. The quantities are arbitrary; basically, it’s equal parts liquor, hazelnut spread, and cream.
